# Deposit Funds

### Overview

You can deposit funds into your Bink account in several ways:

* **Bitcoin (BTC)** via Bitcoin Network L1 or Lightning Network
* **Stablecoins (USDC)** via multiple blockchain networks
* **Fiat currency** via credit/debit card or bank transfer

### Method 1: Deposit Bitcoin

#### **Via Bitcoin Network L1**

1. During onboarding, choose "**I already have Bitcoin**"
2. **Enter the amount** you want to deposit (in USD or BTC)
3. Under "Supported Networks", choose **Bitcoin Network L1**
4. **Copy your Deposit Address** or **scan the QR code**. This is a unique address for you
5. **Send Bitcoin** from your wallet or exchange

**Warning**: Send only Bitcoin (BTC) to this address. Sending any other asset may result in permanent loss.

#### **Via Lightning Network**

1. During onboarding, choose "**I already have Bitcoin**"
2. **Enter the amount** you want to deposit (in USD or BTC)
3. Under "Supported Networks", choose **Lightning Network**
4. A Lightning invoice gets generated. **Scan the QR code** with your Lightning wallet or **copy the invoice string**
5. **Complete the deposit** in your Lightning wallet

**Tip**: Lightning Network is ideal for smaller, frequent deposits with instant confirmation and minimal fees.

### Method 2: Deposit Stablecoins (USDC)

1. During onboarding, choose "**Add USDC**"
2. Choose the network that you are sending funds from
3. **Scan the QR code** or tap **Copy Address**
4. **Send USDC** from your external wallet or exchange
   1. Ensure you select the **same network**
   2. Paste the deposit address
   3. Enter the amount
   4. Confirm the transaction

**Moonpay**

Depositing fiat to Bink happens in collaboration with Moonpay. Before you are able to use Moonpay to deposit fiat currency, you need to complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) process.

2. Choose the **amount** of Bitcoin you'd like to buy
3. Choose **payment method**
